Career:
Danika has been with Siouxland Mental Health Center since October of 2020. She is excited and proud to work with such an amazing team of individuals and she continues to be amazed at the services offered to the Sioux City community. Before coming to SMHC, she was working in an inpatient psychiatric facility and had done that for about 5 years. Prior to the inpatient psychiatric facility, Danika had held multiple positions in long-term care facilities in Nebraska, starting as a C.N.A. at 16 and working her way to L.P.N., R.N., Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, and Director of Nursing Services. But even when not directly in the psychiatric field, she has always had a draw to mental health and being an advocate for those who need it.
