Sex Therapy

What is Sex Therapy?
Sex therapy is a specialized form of counseling that addresses a wide range of concerns related to sexual health and well-being. It is also sex-positive, meaning sex is viewed as a natural and healthy part of life. While often associated with relationships, sex therapy is not limited to couples. It also supports individuals navigating personal challenges, past experiences, or concerns related to behavior, identity, and overall wellness.

Shame related to sexuality

Desire discrepancies in relationships

Who Is This For?
Sex therapy is for individuals, couples, and units seeking support, clarity, or healing. Everyone has the right to sex-positive care. Sexuality is an integral part of life for folks of any age, gender, race, class, abilities, sexuality, family structure, background, religious beliefs, and circumstance. Care is kink- and non-monogamy affirming. Whether you are navigating a specific concern or simply want a better understanding of your experiences, therapy provides a safe, confidential space to explore these topics without judgment.
What to Expect:
Sessions are conducted in a professional, confidential setting focused on conversation, education, and emotional support. Sex therapy does not involve any physical contact and is guided by evidence-based practices and ethical standards.
Our services are provided by a therapist certified through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and a candidate for Sex Addiction Therapist Certification through the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals, ensuring specialized training and expertise in this area of care.
