GOAL
Community-Based Services
Crisis Stabilization
Short-term services are designed to de-escalate a crisis
situation and stabilize an individual following a mental health crisis
and are provided where the individual lives, works, or recreates. Based on the
same regulations as crisis stabilization residential services but conducted in the community. The team of professionals at the Siouxland Mental Health Crisis Center will work with internal and external resources and services to ensure that individuals have access to overall needs within the community.

Medication management

Primary care

Psychiatry services

Any other appropriate services as needed
CRITERIA
You must meet these requirements.

Must be from Buena Vista, Calhoun, Carroll, Cherokee, Crawford, Humbolt, Ida, Pocahontas, Sac, or Woodbury County.

Must have a mental health crisis need such as increased depression, anxiety, insomnia, medication management, suicidal ideation, psychosis, or significant change in life.

Referrals are made by the Crisis Center Team, based on individuals' needs
