The BHIS Provider is responsible for facilitating client growth by promoting skill building in the areas including but not limited to social skills, communication skills, problem solving skills, conflict resolution skills, and interpersonal relationship skills. The BHIS Provider understands the mental health needs of the client and develops a treatment plan in a collaborative effort as defined by the Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA). Service Interventions are written to match client's mental health needs. Specific services include Health and Behavior Intervention, Crisis Intervention, Skill Development and Training, and Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment.
