Therapy Services
Siouxland Mental Health Center offers a variety of therapy
services including individual, group, couple, and family therapy. All
therapists are licensed by the state of Iowa to provide therapy services and all
therapists hold a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a similar degree.

Group List
Siouxland Mental Health Center has a number of groups available
at any given time. Current groups are as follows:
Voices and Visions Group is for individuals who may
experience audio or visual hallucinations. The group members share
strategies for coping with troublesome hallucinations. For more

Dual Diagnosis Group is for individuals who struggle with
both a mental illness and a drug or alcohol addiction. If you are

A Time to Heal is a group
for individuals who have been abused, neglected, assaulted, or otherwise
traumatized. This is a limited group. Please contact Joann Martin or
Terry Hey at 252-3871 for more information.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy Group (DBT) is for
individuals who struggle with intense emotional regulation difficulties.
Many, but not all members have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality
Disorder. The group is open to new members every eight weeks. For

Depression Group offers
support within a therapeutic context for individuals suffering from Depression

Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation
(IPR) Group is for individuals who are in the IPR program at Siouxland Mental Health
Center. IPR is a highly structured program designed to help persons with
serious and persistent mental illness attain success in one of the following
environments: learning, working, socializing, or living. For more
