Siouxland Mental Health Center offers a variety of therapy services to adults and children including individual, group, couple, and family therapy.  All therapists are licensed by the state of Iowa to provide therapy services and all therapists hold a Master's Degree in Social Work (LMSW) or Counseling (LMHC).

Group Therapy List

Siouxland Mental Health Center has a number of groups available at any given time.

Voices and Visions Group is for individuals who may experience audio or visual hallucinations.  The group members share strategies for coping with troublesome hallucinations.  For more information on this group, please contact Kriemhild Oudheusden at (712) 252-3871.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Group (DBT) is for individuals who struggle with intense emotional regulation difficulties.  Many, but not all members have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder.  The group is open to new members every eight weeks.  For more information on this group, please contact Wade Kuehl at (712) 252-3871.

Depression Group offers support within a therapeutic context for individuals suffering from Depression symptoms.  For more information please contact Diane Sorensen or Ivy Clausen at (712) 252-3871.
